SortMyDays respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the SortMyDays Android application (“the App”) and the SortMyDays website.
Information Stored by the SortMyDays App
SortMyDays allows you to create and manage tasks, checklists, task history, and view related productivity information.
Your task content, checklists, task history, and related productivity data are stored locally on your device. The App does not use the contents of your tasks or other personal entries for ad targeting. The App does not include your task titles, checklist contents, task history, paused or deleted tasks, completed-project information, search text, or backup contents in advertising requests sent to Google AdMob.
Backup and Restore
SortMyDays includes a manual backup and restore feature. When you choose to create a backup, the App creates a backup file containing your SortMyDays data and allows you to save it to a location you select.
SortMyDays does not automatically upload your task data to the developer or to a SortMyDays-operated server or cloud service. Backup files are created only when you choose to create them and saved only where you choose to save them.
If you save or share a backup using another service, such as a cloud-storage provider, file manager, messaging service, or other third-party application, that service’s own privacy practices apply to information you choose to provide to it.
Advertising and Google AdMob
The App uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements.
As part of providing advertising services, Google and its advertising partners may collect, process, or share certain technical information. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and advertising settings, this may include information such as:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- device and advertising identifiers;
- interactions with the App and advertisements; and
- diagnostic and performance information.
This information may be used for purposes including advertising, analytics, ad measurement, and fraud prevention.
As described above, SortMyDays does not include the contents of your personal task record or backup files in advertising requests sent to Google AdMob.
Information transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.

Data Retention and Deletion
The App does not require you to create an account, and the developer does not operate a server that stores your task content.
Task and productivity data created in the App is stored locally on your device and remains there until it is deleted using available App functions or otherwise removed from the device.
Backup files created using the App are saved to a location you choose. Those backup files remain in that location until you delete them or they are removed according to the practices of any third-party storage service you choose to use.
Information processed by Google and other third-party service providers is subject to their respective retention and deletion practices.
Consent and Privacy Choices
Where required, the App uses Google’s consent tools to present privacy choices relating to advertising.
The advertising shown and the information used for advertising may vary depending on your region, your consent choices, your device settings, and applicable law.
Where available, you may also manage advertising and privacy choices through your device settings and through privacy options provided within the App.
Third-Party Services
SortMyDays uses third-party services necessary to provide certain features, including Google advertising services. These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable law.
SortMyDays Website
The SortMyDays website may use standard web technologies and hosting infrastructure necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the website.
If advertising, analytics, contact forms, comments, cookies, or other data-processing features are added to the website in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate before or when those features are introduced.
Children’s Privacy
SortMyDays is a general productivity application intended for an adult audience and is not designed or directed specifically toward children.
Where applicable, use of the App by children or minors may be subject to parental consent, supervision, or other requirements under the laws of the user’s country or region.
Data Security
The App is designed to store your task content locally on your device and does not transmit your task content to the developer or include it in advertising requests sent to Google AdMob. However, no device, software, storage system, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device and for any backup files you create.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When the policy is updated, the effective date at the top of this page will be revised.
